KIDS DAY OUT @ THE BIRDPARK
The kids had fun last at the Bird Park last Saturday. Kit Shan was amazed by the Carribean Flamingos. Kit Han and Aggie did well on their drawings of the Lory. Nathan admired the Pelican. Zecharias loved the Parrot show, so were the rest of the kids.
I was too, amazed by the display of birds. I became like a curious child there. It's been more than 10 years since my last visit to the park. I was delighted to the Penguins. They are beautiful group of flightless birds. Wonderful creation.
The kids had fun, and so did I. Am really proud of you, kids!

The kids are getting excited these few days. They are going to the Jurong Bird Park tomorrow for an outdoor drawing session. They can't wait to grab a charcoal and make lots of sketches of the birds there. Kit Han wants to draw the penguins. And I want to see the flamingos. (By the way, the pic on the left is suppose to be a flamingo but the young Wee Joe said it's a pink swan. hehe...good work, kid!)
Looking forward to meet them tomorrow. Bird park here we come!
(do they keep hoopoes there?...hmm)

A grandma of one of my kindy kids said to him, "you always lose things. one day you will lose yourself. then, you cannot go home." Chi Sum can be quite careless at times. He forgets where he place his stuff.
Her words lingered in my mind for quite a while on my way back home.
we forget things, we even forget ourselves, of who we actually are.
sometimes we lose ourselves, lose our life and it's direction and we can't seem to go Home.
losing ourselves doesnt mean giving up the Self, but losing our heart to remember the Giver of Life.
so we need to remind ourselves always and also those we love around us.
I'm fortunate to have friends who constantly remind me of myself.
Alhamdulillah.
Let's go Home now.
God is Home.

We called it "A Flying Guppy with Its tail of sea waves" Look the octopus and the submarine. The sunflower represent the Sun. Surreal eh?
Excellent work, kids!

It's been quite a while since i last updated my English blog. Poor blogger me. the problem was, most of my ideas and thoughts were produced into my Malay blog. Am currently more comfortable in that. Not good in english writing. Soo Rojaklah. Trying to balance the postings between the two blogs.
Once, a friend called me the 'CEO of 5 blogs' because i opened up 5 blogs but maintained only 2. Actiually I have more, but i hide them. If my blogs were money spinning companies i would be donald trump!
ok....scribbling scribbling now...what to write? what to post?
